Combining a serene environment in an authentic California resort setting, Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort provides the ideal meeting spot. Tucked away on 125 acres of forest, hills and meadows on the picturesque Central Coast of California, our beautiful facilities offer over 2,500 square feet of unique meeting and conference space to accommodate groups from 12 to 100 people. Our Event Coordinators and experienced staff will see to every detail to make sure your event is a huge success from catering and banquets to coordination of all your meeting needs such as Audio/Visual equipment for a presentation.

Palm Room


Location
We are located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, one mile off of Highway 101 and conveniently situated just eight miles from the San Luis Obispo Airport. The sublime climate in Avila Beach – combined with the beautiful surroundings – make for an ideal setting for business and pleasure.

Leisure activities abound, ensuring that your attendees will have fond memories of their time on the Central Coast. We offer a wide range of onsite activities, such as access to daily offered yoga, tai chi, and Pilate classes, several hiking trails and bicycle rentals. And nearby there is kayaking, board and wind surfing, golfing, horseback riding, and over 200 county wineries. Throughout the year numerous major festivals and events are also presented in the area.


Facilities
Our event facilities have a wide variety of configurations and settings to meet your specific needs. The Palm Room, which features cathedral ceilings and large windows can accommodate up to 48 guests. With its centerpiece marble fireplace, the adjoining Fireside Room can accommodate up to 32 guests and the Fireside and Palm Rooms together accommodate up to 100.

The intimate settings of the Oak View Room and Garden View Room offer beautiful vistas of our century-old patio, while the vintage elegance of the Boardroom is perfect for meetings up to 12 guests.

Cuisine
The Gardens of Avila Restaurant at Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort is situated in a beautiful garden setting in the Avila Valley. Led by Executive Chef David McWilliam, the Gardens of Avila Restaurant features California Coastal wine-country cuisine and showcases the bounty of local and organic farms, ranches and culinary artisans in the Central Coast area region.
